Bio

Calen Dawkins is a Brazilian/British cinematographer and filmmaker based in Berlin, with a creative foundation in photography, performance, and visual arts. After graduating in Photography from the University of Fine Arts of São Paulo, she pursued advanced lighting studies at MIS and is completing her BA in Film Production at Catalyst Berlin.
 

Her work blends cinematic storytelling with influences from experimental photography, dance, and her time documenting arachnids during a scientific internship. This mix of artistic and scientific curiosity informs her approach to texture, movement, and visual detail. In addition to her freelance projects, she works at Delight Rental Services, supporting filmmakers with camera equipment and technical solutions.
